World-wide, fans of Mercedes-Benz‘s smallest sport utility have reason to be excited with the introduction of the 2013 version of the MB GLK350. In addition to smoother styling that rounds off the chiseled look from last year, the new GLK350 also picks up a direct-injected 3.5-liter V-6 producing 302-hp and 273 lb-ft of torque picked up from the C and E-Class sedans. MB also chooses to go with LED lighting in the head and fog lamps, tail-lights, and continuing into the interior with ambient lighting. Nineteen or 20-inch wheels come standard in new twin 5-spoke designs, finishing off the exterior look. On the inside of the GLK, the dashboard has been completely redesigned with walnut finishes, round air vents, and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters coming standard along side the 7-inch monitor built into its multi-media package. Finished with a range of other bells-and-whistles, including Attention Assist (read: drowsiness prevention) the GLK 350 will be available mid-August. freshnessmag
