Kelly Rowland on the August/September 2011 Juice Issue of VIBE magazine. Kelly touches on her relationship with her former manager Matthew Knowles in the interview as well.
When you walked away from that last meeting with Mathew, did you feel an “exhale” moment?
I did, but I also felt like, ‘Oh my God, what have I done?!’ I stayed in the house for two days. I was sad. It was like a funeral. I had to deaden that situation in order to start fresh. That’s a very long time to have the same manager and the same label.
What about your personal relationship with Mathew Knowles. Do you still talk to him?
Mathew sent me flowers for my birthday!
But do you talk to him?
It’s… I respect him above anything.

WIFIH's @BagsTheBoss "The Audacity Of Hope" Mixtape Review | Download Link
driving back to queens from club pyramid it was a must as soon as i got in the car "The Audacity Of Hope" was inserted in the cd player. after feeling the energy of the crowd while Bag$ performed selected tracks off his latest release it left everyone with a good vibe as we all headed our seperated ways.
the intro to this tape is hosted by dj sussone and definently shows you this isnt your average mixtape. "up in comers become tragedies, so reast in piece to everybody coming after....me" strong wordplay with the right overall feel this mixtape is gone take you all over emotionally, something for everyone. he goes from "Black on Black" to "Follow My Dreams" where he shows you how to stunt and goes on to take the time to explain how not easy it was coming up to get where he is now.
fortunately for me my ride back was enough time to listen to the entire mixtape(for the second time) alone on the highway i got time to hear everything Bag$ was saying and pay attention and reflect while doing 70. "He could've been anything that he wanted...but that aint what he wanted". Dope piece overall.
