Bookmarc by Marc Jacobs
Having his own line as well as complete ownership of Louis Vuitton must have not been enough so Marc Jacobs decided you aint doing shit unless you open up your own bookstore. Now what fashion designer in history you know got his OWN bookstore? Riiiiiight! The store opened this past Saturday in Downtown Manhattan on Bleeker & West 11th Street. The store of course sells books as well as pencils & notebooks & seem to have the same feel as his different style items he sells in his own boutiques. I have to say this man is living!
Damn A!
The very beautiful Amerie was spotted at the Grey Goose event in Dallas this past weekend & apparently she went blonde but quite frankly I think this was a miss for her. Guess not everyone can pull off blonde now-a-days. Who knows I wasn't feeling Christina Milian when she went blonde but after a while it grew on me. I mean Amerie is gorgeous regardless but she should have stayed natural I think that's what gave her the extra sexy was that she stayed natural...now? I just aint feeling it what ya'll thinking about this?
The Ladies of Young Money
Lanvin & H&M collabo
First Jimmy Choo now Lanvin?! One of London's oldest fashion houses is said to team up with H&M for the Fall so get ready ladies! Lanvin's creative director Alber Elbaz isn't really one to create mass market collections since he is more so known for his one of a kind couture pieces which have made him a popular figure in the fashion world BUT he went on to say that he was most intrigued by this project not because Lanvin had to go public but because H&M was going "luxury". I for one LOVE H&M and I'm really looking forward to seeing what these two great individuals do together. Fans of the line can get the sneak peak on November 2nd in a short film that will be premiered on H&M's website & clothes will go on sale in 200 H&M stores worldwide starting November 23rd. I anticipate greatness as I saw with the Jimmy Choo collabo so I can only hope for the same here.
