Apple Begins New Program Lending iPads To Retail Employees
It pays to work at Apple!, Apple has begun testing a new program that lends iPads to Apple Store employees. The new program works like a library book: retail employees can take an iPad home for one week, but then have to return it for other co-workers to use. For now, this program is only taking place at the San Francisco Apple Store. But just wait, there is more coming with Apple Store employees and iPads.

Universal Pictures Plans A 'Scarface' Remake Movie
“Universal Pictures is developing a new version of Scarface, the title first released in 1932 and then turned into the iconic 1983 film that starred Al Pacino as Cuban gangster Tony Montana. I’d heard that the studio has been meeting writers to script a take for a film that will be produced by Marc Shmuger and Martin Bregman. Bregman produced the Pacino version.

Prison Warden’s Wife Found Guilty Of Helping Prisoner Lover Escape
A Greer County jury determined that 49-year-old Bobbi Parker helped convicted killer Randolph Franklin Dial escape from the Oklahoma State Reformatory in 1994.
Parker insisted that Dial kidnapped her and kept her from reaching out for help for more than a decade by threatening to harm her daughters. The two were found living together in Texas in 2005 – along with a collection of love letters and sex toys.
The jury recommended that Parker receive one year in prison when she is sentenced October 6. She could have faced up to 10 years in prison.
Parker remains in custody.
Bobbi Parker showed no reaction as the jury read the verdict shortly after noon.
Husband Randy Parker, who was with his wife during the trial, bowed his head and was comforted by family members.
Prosecutors said they were pleased with the verdict.
21yr Sentence For Man Who Killed Friend Over Twitter Dispute
A Manhattan man who k!lled his best friend in a Twitter-fueled rage was sentenced to 21 years in prison on Wednesday.
Tough tweets between Jameg Blake, now 24, who pleaded guilty to manslaughter, and his childhood pal Kwame Dancy, 22, exploded into deadly anger on Dec. 1, 2009.

Today, while I was on the bus, my foot fell asleep. When we arrived at my stop, I stood up and limped to the front of the bus. As I walked down the steps, I tripped, fell, and smashed my nose into the ground. The driver just laughed and drove away. FML
