Jeremy Lin has renegotiated his previous limited deal with Nike, according to reports.
ESPN Radio reported last week that Nike planned to release a new shoe that features the Knicks’ blue and orange and “Lin” on the back of the heel. Before the sneakers are released you can expect Nike to roll out a new promotional campaign built around Lin.
No release date has been given for the shoe, which I’m sure will be a major hit in countries like China.
The deal comes as the Knicks and Lin’s lawyers are going full force to protect his trademark rights for future Lin gear and endorsement deals. As we all remember last week a picture began making its way around the web, of an orange and blue sneaker with the word ‘Lin’ written on the back, was a fake. reachnyc
