Next time you’re prepping your guy for the biggest treat of his life, look up at him and say, “hold my hair.”
There are several advantages to this:
1) It keeps your hair out of your eyes and mouth so that you can focus on the task at hand.
2) It gives him a sense of power, like he’s controlling the blow job. Now, here’s where things can get a little tricky: unless you’re into it, and if you are you’ve no doubt discussed beforehand, “hold my hair” does not mean “hold my hair and control my head.” “Hold my hair” does not give him license to take physical control of the oral sex situation; it just gives him the sense that he is. If he gets a little pushy, I suggest moving his hand off your head and placing it by his side.
3) While number 2 seems like the most important advantage, I actually think this one is the real key: It lets him know you trust him and that you’re into what you’re doing. The most uncomfortable thing for many guys during oral (and this tends to be less guys in serious relationships than more casual ones) is the idea that you’re not enjoying yourself, and that it’s a one-sided chore. “Hold my hair” helps relieve this worry, and lets him relax, which will help every have a good time, and speed things along.
