MCM chose the backpack shape for it's limited edition 'cause no other shape affords movement, convenience and nomadism better. It stands for dynamism and functionality at the same time - and the shape adequately commemorates flow, progress, practicality & style. As a matter of cause, we've been inspired by "The Union Flag", also known as the "Union Jack", the flag of the United Kingdom. No flag is better attributed better to a legacy of honour, a heritage of ambition and a reverence of tradition, therefore MCM is producing an exclusive collection of backpacks featuring this iconic emblem. This design is intended to harmonise the Olympics’ vision to "inspire a generation" and MCM’s promise of empowerment.
