Glamour Gives Away Leighton Meester's Sexy Eye Make-up Secret

1.First, prep your skin with La Mer The Regenerating Serum. Then apply foundation with a Beauty Blender Cosmetic Sponge, and finish with powder.
2.Now, the thing you’re all waiting for—those eyes! start by lining just the top and bottom of your outer eyes (creating a sideways “V” shape) using a dark purple gel liner. Then sweep it out to create a sexy "feline" shape.
3.To soften the look, add a layer of violet shadow across your lids and inner corners. A good choice is CoverGirl’s 1-Kit in Purple Pop.
4.Next, use a green shade along your lower lash line. Good pick: CoverGirl’s 1-Kit in Kaboom Kelly.
5.Intensify your “punk princess” eyes, by lining your waterline with a soft black pencil and adding a coat of mascara to your top and bottom lashes.
6.To finish, dust on a rosey blush and pink-y nude lipstick.

Eyeshadow On Your Lower Lids

So how is this different then just lining your lids with a pencil? Well, if you do just the shadow by itself you eliminate the worries that come with liner—namely that it can look harsh even make your eyes look smaller, depending on your peeper shape and size (especially if you wear it on your inner rims). And if you use it not in place of liner but to amp up a line of it, you get extra smokiness. In fact, I highly recommend using this one-two punch for your next kohl-rimmed look.
